Wall & map polish — v0.3.4

• TV wall tiles now fill the screen: when everything fits one page the grid sizes to the rows actually used (no dead bottom row), and each tile's chart stretches to the room it has.
• Warning is visible from across the room — warning tiles get an inset amber rail (matching the red treatment for over-threshold), and TV status dots nearly doubled in size.
• Coordinate maps auto-fit the tile's shape, so a city cluster fills the frame instead of floating in a world-map corner; per-instance chart colors no longer collide with the amber/red status hues.
• Sparse metrics render empty buckets as a thin baseline instead of ghost stubs, keyboard focus is visible on every control, and icon-only buttons carry proper labels.

Instant wall at scale — pre-aggregated rollups

Every pushed point now also updates per-minute and per-hour rollups in the same write, so the wall reads summaries, not raw rows. A 15-tile wall over a 50-million-datapoint database renders in well under 300 ms for the common ranges — down from ~12–20 seconds before. Ingestion is unchanged: the single writer still sustains hundreds of thousands of points per minute with zero dropped points, and the cloud tier keeps longer rollup history for the 30/90-day ranges.

Tag a metric by region or country in the push payload (labels:{"country":"DE"}) and add a map tile — a dependency-free world choropleth that colors each region by value and updates live as data lands. Respects thresholds and the dark theme; readable full-screen on the wall.

Wall-first UX — dark control-room theme & TV mode

• A high-contrast dark control-room theme, plus auto-scaling numbers sized to each tile so the wall reads from across the room.
• A top-of-wall health summary — “N healthy · M warning · K stale” — and tiles that border/flash the moment a threshold is crossed.
• Fullscreen wall mode for a TV, with auto-paging when there are more tiles than fit.
• Live updates patch tiles in place — no flicker, no layout shift — and the wall keeps showing last-known values (greyed) if the stream drops, reconnecting on its own.

Self-hosted single-binary releases

v0.2.x · 2026

• One self-contained native binary per OS/arch (macOS, Linux, Windows) — no Java to install — plus Homebrew, Docker, and a JVM jar.
• First-run admin-password prompt, configurable port (defaults to 7090, steps to the next free port if busy), and a health-checked container image.
• Export / import your whole setup (config, and optionally values) to back up or migrate to upcheckr Cloud.
